*notices Bagshot nosing around that same spot at the edge of the yard by the woods he has been investigating for the last few days

Quite well, thank you. Except I seem to have left my walking stick outdoors. Ah! *I see my walking stick lying in the grass and bend to pick it up*

Would you like to come in for some tea? *I brush a few errant leaves off of my stick*

Well, Uncle Sennie . . . Isengar Took? . . . is getting together a party right now to go look for Bingo and we were wondering if you or Sam wanted to come. I'm not sure where we're going--maybe Uncle Sennie has an idea. But we've been worrying, and at least this would be doing something.
