Re: 52 inch HDTV!!!friendtoanimalsMarch 19 2006, 08:59:13 UTC
Don't feel bad. :) It's alright. Mine was bought with my 401k. I took out a loan on it. The TV itself was around 1,300.00 dollars but that was with an extra 2 year warranty. On display it said 999.00 but you know... taxes and all. Not bad for a 52 inch. :)
Oblivion will rock. I can't afford it though, or rather, I can't afford the Xbox 360. Well not yet anyway.
It's sort of weird seeing the screenshots being so much like Morrowind but with amped up graphics and better looking forests and such.
I'm one to go for Collector's Editions. The added extras in the CE are: a coin, a making of dvd, and I think a booklet outlining the different races, monsters, and the land of Tamriel.
I've downloaded and since deleted some gameplay movies of Oblivion. It's funny the way NPCs interact with each other and pet dogs and so forth.
Diets are difficult to stick to. I'm trying to cut onion and garlic out of my diet completely. It's a buddhism thing though and garlic and onion are in just about everything.
The easiest thing was to avoid McDonald's and switch to carrots and watermelon. This gets boring after a while, but it's cheap, you know?
