I've kind of fallen into a bout of depression. Nothing serious. Nothing to worry about. It's just bad enough to motivate me to type about it. If it was serious you'd never hear anything about it. It's due to a lot of things. My uncle skipped out on my graduation to play golf. He's my uncle by marriage, and has only been so for about six years now (

If your not going anywhere this summer its not to late to get a summer job. Plus if you get a job you can just use the money from that to go on a trip by yourself or with friends or even your sister when she gets back. You might not be getting what you expected out of the summer as of now but its never too late make what you want out of it. I'm sorry your family is treating you as though your gone, but maybe it is easier for them to start to get used to it now then to put it off till September. Oh and about the books and movies. We all watch and read them because the peoples lives in he books are interesting. Most people don't live such thrilling lives, There is no reason that your life cannot be exciting. Your parents where right this is your last summer at home and you should spend it with your family, but if your family isn't going to spend it with you at times this summer find something to do for yourself while they are away.
