You can't say he's doing better than Kerry would have, since the only way to find out would've been to have Kerry in office. It was a gamble. Aside from that, we need people to keep blasting bush so the public gets some shred of an idea of what not to elect again, and so people know what's going on. Plus, on top of all of that, we may be better off that other countries, but that's no excuse not to still improve. Hell yeah I'm happy to live in the USA, but I'd flee hands down if everyone was suddenly magically content with its current workings.
Okay, about Kerry, take about how many times he flip-flopped on issues. Honestly, he can't make up his mind. I don't want someone like that in office. And notice, that when Bush was first elected, everyone loved him. No matter what president we get from here on out, people are gunna like them less and less as time goes on, it's inevitable.
Oh bloody hell, both he and Bush were willing to say whatever they needed to get the role. The fact that you used Flip Flopped means you listened way too much to the wonderful propaganda machine the republicans set up. Read what he was voting on in depth: when he voted to not fund the troops on a bill, it was because money was going to go to a corrupt program at the same time. All senators don't vote purely according to their party, and to think they do is plain foolish. Besides, who would you rather have in office, someone who couldn't make up his mind, or someone who just flat out lies to you like we have now?
It'd never pass, the real republicans are finally starting to wake up and starting the cleanup job that the democrats failed on. I still have some hope, but, if not, how are networking jobs in Europe?
You like Bush? That's fine with me. But please respect that I don't. "Shut the fuck up" is not a valid counterpoint. I will never say "Shut the fuck up about your Bush support", because it's your right to support whoever you like.
As such, your outburst is a bit peculiar to me, especially since your point of whether or not you "still have constitutional rights" is debatable, as is your view on whether or not Kerry would've been worse a president. You don't know that, and neither do I.
To quote former president Clinton: "I did not inhale" ;)
