OMFG...Death Note (L specifically) has taken my soul. If you haven't read that manga-DO IT! With 5 volumes out and Light's endless monololgues, it's a good summer read. And L. Howe shall I decribe him? I think he was raised my birds honestly but I do love him. He's freaking adorable.

And watch out for L. My L!muse has been sitting on the foot of my bed, having a staring contest with The Cat for the past several hours, and that only began after he cleaned out all the girl scout cookies, cake, and oreos in the apartment.
(In other words, The Cat's sitting there watching me fic L, wondering why I'm not petting her, and I'm pretty sure my husband's the one who ate all the cookies in this place. But it sounds so much better the other way ...)

Haha, I can so picture your L!muse perching on the footboard and just staring at you all bird-like *dies* I think that would be scarier to wake up to than Ryuk. Seriously. He must take after Mama Bird.

For my cosplay to Otakon, if I can get time off from teaching to go, I'm dressing as Light and making a doll-version of L to handcuff to my wrist. I told my husband that and he said: "That thing is NOT sleeping in the bed with us."
Won't he be surprised when he learns he's wrong! ^_~
And L's not dead, he just moved in with me when the manga didn't want him anymore ...
