so this will be a MASSIVE PICTURE POST... all the pictures you ever wanted, and some you didn't want.

for lisali when i look out the window in my bedroom, i see the back neighbors' yard
when i look out the windows in the livingroom, i see mailboxes and other people's yards. :)
for stariel this is me in my favorite pieces of clothing, and i haven't been to dragonfly since you asked, so i'll post those later.

that's me in the portland airport, waiting for our flight for frankfurt to board.
in the frankfurt airport we were walking along and i see a little souvenir shop with a tiny selection of cds... so i proudly announce to my friends, "i BET they have placebo here.. they HAVE to..." and of course they did... i was proud...
this is the hotel we stayed at in sorrento, it was pretty nice. i ended up writing a list of "shower tips" ...never thought taking a shower would be so tricky! but we figured it out soon enough.
the next day we went to capri... this is our tour leader, ilaria, on the ferry ride there
capri was totally beautiful
this is a pic i took while we were driving on a tiny little road along the amalfi coast... it was really wind-y (the road.. not wind whoosh, wind wind-up toy) and scary
pompeii was cool, weird to walk on a 2000 year old road!
we met little dogs in pompeii as well..
a dog with a more tragic fate, swallowed up by the lava and ash of vesuvius in AD 79
i sat on some ancient greek ruins in cumae, after walking in some caves and such...
naples archaelogical museum had cool stuff, i was really intrigued by the mosaics of animals though, like this little zoe-ancestor.
this is where i first met lena and nancy, i walked across that crosswalk and saw them, then sat down with them on that ledge of the grassy area...
the front of the hotel we stayed in, in rome... it was a converted monestary, and a still-working church
the pieta... by michaelangelo, brilliant brilliant work, eh?
a fountain at st. peter's square where i met up with lena the third day
inside st. peter's basilica, the cool blackish thing is by bernini
my highlights have become a little long, but if youre still at all interested, there's much more to see!
