You Had Me At Hello

You had me at hello. - Jerry Maguire
It was the first time she truly open herself to a guy. Sure there were many oppas’ in SM that were more than willing to take care of her or perhaps even more but she was never interested and her unnies made sure that everyone gets the message loud and clear that their maknae is off limits. So it was not well ( Read more... )

Author this is so beautiful!! I love how you put quotes in this story and I love ALL of it! :))
Sorry this one random but I love the quote from as good as it gets...simple but it has such a deeper meaning :)

Yes yessss I saw it too!!! The way they had their banmal song duet...it's just feel different!
I don't know how to put my feeling through words but there's definitely something between them...we never know what lies between them but you just can feel it...Aaahhh sorry my words are too confusing x(

Thank you author for making this story...I love every part of it!

Love,

Mitchkasan

yup i love quotes and yup the simplest quotes are the best. no worries about being random, i am a random person as well.

LOL there is something different about them. its like feelings are settled and somehow i just felt like the dust has settled.

anyways, thanks for reading and leaving a comment :)

SORRY for the LONG comment! hehe snccrockz September 6 2011, 07:07:21 UTC
Nice read. I like how you used the quotes to keep the magical/fantastical part of the story alive, while you injected reality with their distance, dating others, etc. A nice combo that is part saddening in its realism, but hopeful for the future ( ... )

PLS DONT BE! i love comments (greedy writer here) and sorry for my short reply.

i agree with what you say. perhaps Potential is the word for it and that is why we all are still here ... believing in them.

above it all, whether i believe that there is this unbreakable connection between them.

and yes i also hope that they get their happy ending but most of all i hope that they get it together and not with another.

Mel, that was beautifully written. I was a bit worried that it would be a sad stiry, but I really like how you've stripped away all the extras, them being idols, them being so busy, all the rivals, and brought it down to what it is...a simple, albeit beautiful love story. With Yongseo, I really believe they are different enough, and feel strongly enough to make it work for them. And I really don't think there is a problem with the timing. YEs they are both young and just starting their careers, but that means, even more so, that they have all the time in the world. As a certain Mr. Jung Yonghwa says in his latest song...
"Hey listen, guys, look in the mirror
We have to slow down
Because we have enough time"

They do have enough time.

And btw I totally agree that they bring out the best in each other.
Agree with akapugs love isn't about timing, its either there or not.

remember our watsapp convo? you were ready to slap me LOL its not that i stopped believing but i just felt that the dust has settled. but above and beyond that, i always believe that they have this connection. that they will always be each other's special someone and that there will always be a room specially for each other in their heart.

i would wish much for them to be together but at the same time, i am just glad that they got to know each other. it's a start :) who knows perhaps there are already more than meet the eye?

hugs unnie!

ps: i was going to give it a sad ending but then i guess at the end of the day, my motto still stands that Yong n Hyun will always end up together regardless of how it will be.

You can't give up on happy endings! That's not the Mel I know and wub :) btw I also loved the way you used quotations to outline your story. I'm not getting the right phrase, but I loved the words you used. It was like you distilled the essence of their journey, each stage of it, into your story....does that make sense?

Jerry Maguire...still one of my favortie quote of the movie. Another one of my favorite is from Indecent Proposal....When Robert Redford lets go of Demi Moore so she can goes back to her husband Woody Harrison...Robert Redford told his drive why he let the love of his life go..."She will never smile at me the way she smile at him".....so sad yet but had so much love!!! I do see "love" in smiles when I see people in love. That's what I see in Yonghwa and Seohyun. But there are so many forms of love right? I do agreed that timing plays a big part of people getting together. Maybe the timing is right for Yong to meet Hyun at WGM because she is so optismic and controlled in her life and Yong needed that guidance or inspiration for him to start off in the KPop world. I am sure she must of helped him a lot in the controlling and handling the hardship of a new rookie band. I think their friendship runs really deep and they are handling this friendship with care as they both know the timing is not right now for "romance love". Maybe ( ... )

OH that's a nice quote! WGM is like a starting platform for them :) it made two people who would not totally cross path, totally cross path... make sense? LOL so it's good cos when you see them individually you won't think oh yah they would suit each other but them together, they click because they fit like puzzle pieces.

LOL you should see the movies :) i think i will too :) thanks for reading and leaving a comment
