nope, you are not missing something. i just did not put it in writing. to be honest, i did not think of the reason per say. but i can give you one.
think of it this way - she made him promise not to cheat and lie rite? what she heard, she ended up being sad and confuse whereas what he heard made him scared. so it has to be something to do with his promiscuous ways. since the rumor is that, then he would lose her hence he is scared.
so let me make it up for you - yes he did in some ways, cheat i mean. what she heard was that he slept with one girl who became pregnant. but in reality, he did not because he was too drunk at that time and the girl actually slept with another guy, yong so happen to be in the room. when they woke up, it was only yong and the girl so naturally she would assume.
does it make sense? LOL
