If they couldn't keep eating, pride would lose out, yep. The bills aren't incentive enough. ;) You know I'm very liberal on many fronts, but not when it comes to responsibility and accountability in public welfare.

I am a fuck-up-- don't deny it!-- and yet I've worked for almost four years without calling out sick once. I guess I make a pretty good difference in my line of work, too. Maybe I'd do better if I were more aware of these things, and allowed them to foster self-confidence for more ambitious endeavors.
