yeah, you'd think they were but nope. I don't know why they didn't before, but there it is. Maybe it was just too expensive for mom to do it and maybe dad always hoped that she'd take him back so he wouldn't be alone. Or maybe mom, as despicable as it sounds, had hoped that she was still on dad's life insurance policy. Just things that have gone through my head that are in no way proven to be accurate.

yeah, I was my dad's youngest. He was married before my mom and had three girls, and he is quite a deal older than she. My three half sisters are in their 40s, the oldest being a year younger than my mom!
