As far as consideration goes by the right person(s), I think it does get read. Truly.

SOmetimes it's better to say "fuck you and the big white horse you rode in on".

On an intellectual level, yes. On an emotional level, to a certain extent.

Do they empathsize? I believe they do. I also believe they care.

It's a complex question and you can't second guess what anyone is thinking, especially when the emotions are not clear cut.
