Things I Make

Jun 23, 2008 20:52

I get so much encouragement from the comments on my livejournal - THANK YOU!!

So really quick... I thought these pictures turned out well.

(I am making these as a set for my sister. She is coming up this week and I wanted to give them to her then. I need to finish the second one ASAP!)

i got the idea from an old font i downloaded a while back. i wanted to make pillowcases and the font had all of these wacky flowers so i knew just what to use!

PS - My school energy is obsolete at the moment. This past month has made me realize that I am way more interested in doing things like this at the moment. Not that I don't love school (because I truly love my major) but I am on a MUCH NEEDED break and I am really dreading having to go back in two months. Don't be down on yourself over the class, lady. It is ONE class, and in the grand scheme of things - school isn't the most important thing in life and you can't allow it to shadow other things you have going on. I was so guilty of that and I want to really work on balancing my life.

god, i wish i had the time for this stuff. i miss my sewing machine so much. i actually find comfort in hand-stitching holes in my clothes because i miss my machine so much.

I never knew you sewed! I need to bust out my sewing machine hardcore before school starts. I've done everything but sew on a machine. I've even started knitting again. It makes me wish education was UNNECESSARY because I would rather spend my life sewing and playing with paper.

yesss and i loved it so much. i tried to teach myself to knit one time and it was SUCH A LOST CAUSE. i need some one to actually show me rather than read how to do it. if only i could knit...

and i'm not a paper lover, but no one appreciates my arts and crafts like i do. i am huge into making wreaths and other holiday projects haha.
