eldritchhobbit started me thinking about Fall literature, so now it's a meme. ;) She posts beautiful classic poetry. All I know much of is children's lit, so here's my contribution.

I knew something in my soul stirred this morning. I held the covers tighter but not for being cold. Snuggled in tight . Though I'm not very intellectual my gut instincts have proven true time and time again. I felt the Atumnal Equinox even if my brain didn't remember what day it was. This has always been an exciting time of year for me. I take this time to feast on what we've harvested over the past year, all our new friends ,all our old bonds tested and proven. We face the darkness ahead in anticipation of the coming of the light. "We go into the darkness to gather strength and wisdom" (Kelly Rouse).

I love being Pagan !!! To me it's a state of beinging intouch with all that is around me and that is espeacially true at the marked changes of the seasons. :)

I love these poems! You choose the neatest things to quote. The last one is the perfect recipe. :) Happy Equinox!

I love the Berenstain Bear's Almanac (I still have it)! Brings back memories of childhood.
