I would imagine after years of friendship, lets say 7, that something important wouldn't be forgotten. Or maybe it wasn't forgotten, but just wasn't acknowledged. Nothing of real importance. But after 7 years, it isn't too difficult to dial a 7 digit number. And now it's been 7 days and I'm coming to realize it's over.

No, I'm not. And you know why. Because I'm through with dealing with shit I don't deserve. I was there for you, and tried to support you. When you left school I tried to stay good friends, tried to help you see what you were doing to yourself. And it just got fucking worse. When my best friend, who I've been best friends with for 7 straight years, can't even call me on my birthday, or the day after that, it shows me just how much you valued my friendship.

One thing you do need to conisder, is that you're not always just the victim? You know why I didn't call you? Because i hadn't talked to you in about three weeks. I thought it was over anyways. You do sometimes play a part in it. But whatever. Let's just say it's my fault, since i'm the obvious fuckup. Happy belated.

I was always the one to call you, and you rarely ever called unless you were returning my call. When we did hang out, you were preoccupied with smoking. I understand that sometimes when we would try to plan shit I was busy with rowing or work, as were you (minus the rowing part). We texted each other several days before my bday so don't give me that we hadn't talked in 3 weeks shit because as far as I'm concerned, texts can count as talking. And yeah, we didn't hang out because I had to work. Regardless, this just made me realize what I hadn't seen before.
