I have a class about women murderers in popular culture.

Yes, it's fantastic. :) I have watched Bound, Set it Off, Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, Freeway, etc for this class, and analyzed them. WAY too much fun to then wind up with a grade for it.

Unfortunately, I don't have any recs, but I've seen Bound in a film class a few years ago that focused on "bad girls" and it was awesome. And the professor said it was "the movie the Wachowski brothers did before they realized they could do the Matrix".
