Seeking a Beta Reader for The Expanse

Hey I’m watching, and really liking, the new Syfy (ugh that spelling) show The Expanse. In fact I’m writing fanfic, but I need a beta reader. So far all the fic are short, but longer stories may be forthcoming. Any takers?

I squeed so hard to read that you're writing fanfic again I almost peed. I am not watching that show, so I'm probably of no use to you as a beta, but OMG. MEL FIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for being someone who's always excited to see me create something, even if it's not something you enjoy. That's precious.

I'm working on other things too, so hopefully some of them will be things you like/watch/etc.

(we did have a lovely Christmas, full of lounging about in our pyjamas eating fantastic meals. Grad school? Still exhausting but so exciting too.

I wouldn't say I don't enjoy The Expanse; I honestly have never heard of it. :) But I LOVE that you are enjoying it! And writing in it! I support anything that makes you happy. *hugs ( ... )

It's a brand new show on Syfy. It's getting a ton of great press so I decided to try it, and I really like it so far. It's an interlocking plot lines show, like How to Get Away With Murder -- and that's not a device I particularly enjoy on TV (it works better in novels) but I was captivated by the stunning spaceship visuals and the gritty, difficult world.

To be honest I still can't keep all of the characters straight, but I have favorites and I know it will get easier over time.

I recommend it.

Emma and I miss you too. Every time we drive around in the city we run into things that remind us of hanging there with you. :D I'll talk to her & get back to you about getting together.

I'm glad you got to spend the holidays with the fam, and it sounds like plenty of excitement is coming up for you! Lots to talk about! :D
