After 32 years, I still don't know who I am or what I want in the long run. Sure, I'm good at knowing what I want in the present. I know when I'm thirsty, sleepy, horny, etc. But, what do I want for me? And, how do I know if it's "right". I still don't know those things ( Read more... )

I failed four subjects in total last year, mainly because I didn't want to pass. Or stopped believing that I could, that I deserved to, that I wanted to. I was also depressed so "self-sabotage" was a big factor. A lot of it was unpleasant to deal with. It wasn't easy to take a step back and watch it all crash and burn. In fact, I tore myself up as I did it and felt horrible the whole time and thereafter.

It's biting me in the butt now. I'm sick to death of study and delivering people their infernal pizzas. I want a real job with my degree. I would've been graduating in November and could've walked into one of several fulltime jobs immediately after. But alas... I have to study next year part-time as well. I guess what I'm saying is that if I'd dealt with the uncomfortableness of the immediate situation beforehand a lot better, I'd be in a better position now. This last push is just a small thing don't let it overwhelm you. Think about it from a future perspective, would you regret getting this close and giving up?
