Weirdness in a clam shell

Okay the weirdness was actually being in Melbourne airport and seeing something in the ladies toilets that looks less like a hand dryer and more like the top of giant clam shell and weirdly boxy at the bottom

I suspect I've seen those things in Perth too! Rigby's Bar, http://www.theguide.com.au/BrowseClient.aspx?AccountID=848 . Stick your hands in, withdraw them slowly past the airblast. They work rather well... well, unless you encounter a Wood Beast .
