I hate my printer.
So I have an Epson Stylus CX4600 printer. It's pretty cool -- when it decides to work. I've been having problems with it for a couple months now. At first, I thought it was because the ink was low. So I sold my soul to Staples for some ink cartridges (I'm never ever going to purchase ink there again). I installed them today

go to the epson website, look around for 'current drivers' or something of the sort, and download the latest driver for your model. Remember where you DL it to.
Then, uninstall your old driver (either by using the tool it created in the epson folder likely found in 'program files,' or by going to 'control panel' and then selecting 'add/remove programs.' Find the CORRECT epson driver and click 'change/remove.'
Finally, open the driver you DL'd and follow the instructions on the screen.
Like I said; no guarantee, but it's worth a shot.
Driver: a small program that acts as a translator between your computer and something else (hardware or software). If the most current driver is not installed, or if the driver is incorrectly installed, the program/component may not work correctly.
