Wednesday night, I attended...a Mary Daly lecture. I will say, she's out there. Really, really out there. But she was fun to listen to. I might not agree with a lot of what she has to say, but I love the way she uses language. She had a book signing afterwards, and I got my Gyn/Ecology signed

Yeah, Mary Daly freaks me out a bit. The thing that worries me the most is that we have a lot in common and I'm deeply afraid of becoming as dissolutioned as she is. Anyway, I'm glad that you liked it...

I can understand that. It was really funny...while sitting there in the lecture, I was absolutely enchanted. It was almost like that "kid in a candy store" feeling....and I had to remind myself that she's speaking from a very different place than my experience with the church. But yeah, it was interesting.
