My charge conference was last night. It was such an affirming experience. They passed me (I knew they would, though I was still wildly nervous). But I don't consider that to be my crowning achievement. No...what made me the happiest was the fact that I did not directly read my call statement (as I was planning to do) and I answered all of their

Thanks! It was really neat -- they gave me the ballots to keep for encouragement, which was pretty cool.

Yeah -- it's on to DCOM now! That won't be until the fall, so I have plenty of time to prepare...
