oh goodness it's been awhile. let's see.
- David and I went to Philly in August for the Meeting The Parents (TM) and other associated festivities. Did some sightseeing, like you do.
- Still employed and we got our health insurance back in August. Annoyingly, the independent insurance I had was better than our corporate one, except for the giant premium. Been putting in a lot of overtime most of the year, which is great for the bank account but not so good for sanity.
- Actually went to the Puyallup Fair this year, which had far fewer Confederate flags than the county fairs in New York (no, I don't understand either)
- Managed to get out in the woods once or twice...well...once.
- I finally got around to cutting off most of my hair. (Relatedly, I have found the hairdresser I want to spend the rest of my life with.)
- David and I celebrated our first anniversary by going to Steamcon, where I neglected to take any photos at all. I haven't been to a con since a Star Trek one when I was 8 (met Chekov - he was very nice), but obviously that was a little different. It was interesting, but a bit too crowded for me, so next time I think we need a larger posse. (And I need a better costume.)
- I did very little knitting, but some beading and a scrapbook page or two.
- My pig and Stevecat continue to be cute.
- We went down to Dallas for
foxnikita's wedding, which was AWESOME, and it was so fabulous to see everyone, spiders and all. David and I got a fab internet deal on a fancy hotel for two nights, and we also went to the Cowgirl Museum, and we didn't have to talk about politics with any of the locals, and now I can say I've been to Texas.
- David is wonderful and I am still ridiculously smittttten, with five t's.
- and...yeah that's pretty much it. other than that I work, sleep and play Chrono Trigger and Puzzle Quest.
