I realize I'm in the minority here, but Empire never did it for me (though obviously it's better than I, II and III). It felt like a middle, which it is, and it's depressing. As for the Bad Ones, I think Phantom Menace was the worst. Basically, the more Jar Jar there is, the worse the film.

I'm looking forward to Rogue One, which I'll check out after Christmas to see if it's not too upsetting for my son to watch (one review I saw referred to "Shakespeare-level death," so I have my doubts).

The gore-level is not all that high but yeah, Shakespeare-level is a pretty good way to put it as far as the sheer numbers. There were a bunch of little boys there, as I said, and they didn't seem unduly disturbed, but I'm sure it depends on the kid.

And honestly, Jar-Jar doesn't bother me any more than the endless damn pod-race. There's just a lot of boring in that movie, overall. (But I put the Clones lowest because of whiny teenage Anakin. Ugh.)

As opposed to whiny millenial Emo Ren? ;-)
