We saw Rogue One again tonight, and I liked it better than the first time. As I've said, I'm not well-versed in the Star Wars universe, and it's been some 40 years since I saw the first movie. Going into RO the second time, especially knowing that the "First Movie" comes next, I was able to put together a lot of what I've never really understood after all these years. It was heart-wrenching to see Carrie Fisher, though. There weren't many dry eyes in the house. I'm thinking tonight's full house was comprised mainly of second-or-third or even more viewers, because there was no applause after this showing, the way there was the first time. My favorite character remains K2, and my favorite scenes are the ones with the massive war machines and vehicles crashing into one another in slow motion. The filming is just gorgeous.

Some of the major light displays in our neighborhood are already down. I was pleased to still hear Christmas music on XM Radio this week. The season is over much too soon for me.

I loved Stranger Things, can't wait for season two!
