I want to start a blog, for the purposes of internet marketing for my new company. But, I don't have anything interesting to say. I don't know enough about law, consumer law, trial attorneys, or even fundraising in Silicon Valley to say anything interesting at all. If this is something you decide you want to do, I can suggest a place to being your learning curve: . Findlaw is a good (free) place to get legal news and commentary (they even have a legal dictionary -- which is good for when you want to translate something from lawyer jargon into English.

Also, it is a bit of shameful self-promotion (since I do their book reviews) but LLRX has a number of good research guides and reviews (though it is a bit CI and law library oriented), and the LLRX Blog isn't bad, either -- it is more news oriented than LLRX proper.

You're running into the same problem I did with DTT in terms of blog content -- I wanted to write a blog too but didn't have anything relevant to say. I actually briefly kept up a blog that just linked to other blogs and pointed to news stories on cancer and diet, and actually got some response to that. Sadly I didn't have the time to keep it up, but I think something as basic as pointing to content elsewhere might be a good start. You can also talk about your experiences using the site as features and sections come online and how you think this can provide value to your users.

Finally, you could think about starting a SEM techniques blog for yourself, to show your expertise and practice on. A number of SEM people I know have blogs and other sites they run tests on, this could be one such for you!
