Firefox screwed up for me too, so I switched to Chrome and it's working oK :] Good luck

It was really laggy, I couldn't do anything.

ah, okay. i don't have any noticeable lagging problems. just the problem w/graphics.
it probably is a virus. =.= i'm not sure if i should bother looking into one of those free virus scanning programs, though. :/
this needs more thought.
