Much better. That comes a lot closer to capturing the... essence of the situation. 'Oh shit' is appropriate when one person ditches common sense for maniacal laughter, but when you've got half the city in 'I think this would look fabulous drenched in blood' mode? It's time to upgrade the obscenity.
