Job now. And oshit was it a fight to get one.  I’m working at this wonderful pizzeria called Dom D’Carlo’s. And when I say wonderful, I mean dutch oven of a hell on earth.

-_-

My boss is loud, angry, and mean, but at the same time he’s honest, sweet and caring. He’s stereotypical Italian, I guess. You’re not allowed to ask him questions, yet you can’t do anything wrong. If anything does go wrong, no matter how small it is, he freaks, calls you names, let you know how worthless you are and how you screwed him over, and then leaves you alone. If you do the slightest thing right, though, he’s all praise and smiles and claps, and is borderline insulting but at the same time nice to hear. For example;

If I bring in two ice bags instead of three, he’ll slam his hands on the table, shake his head, and yell “You just don’t get it. Jesus, I don’t have time for this shit. Pay attention- no, no look at me. I Do Not Repeat Myself. Stop screwing things up, and get the damn job done.”

If asks me to run to the walk-in fridge and count how many pans of dough are left and I’ve already done it, he’ll grin, shout “You’re amazing! This is why I love you!” Clap really loudly, turn to the annoying incompetent waitress who’s thirty years older than me and has been working there for years, and go “THAT’s what I want you to do!”

So Yeah. I fucking love it! I love waitressing, even when I get bitchy people. It’s awesome, but stressful. My Boss keeps telling me to slow down because nobody can keep up with me. I’ve been working double shifts. He told me that I’m his best waitress and best employee and that he’s glad that he hired me, and is amazed at how talented I am at my job. Which ranges from waitressing, cooking, chopping veggies, cleaning, making bread, working the counter and working the phone. Yesssss. He puts a lot of responsibility on me, though. On my third day working I basically trained a new waiter. Not only do I waitress and help him in the kitchen, but I cover this really awful waitress named Shauna’s  tables, and cover for the other waitress who likes to leave early, all while training the new  guy on how to do his tables. I’m totally thriving in this environment. He’s worried about if he wants to keep me, though, because he’s freaked about my parents, who are being oh so helpful as usual. He knows he needs me and I know he needs me, but he doesn’t want to have to deal with my parents. I have to have a talk with them, which is gonna be BUNDLES of fun.

I got hired at a difficult time, though. Most of his staff that he’d been working with for years were either fired or just plain didn’t show up the week I had my interview. He had to fire his manager, and his cook switched to part time, so not only does he have to worry about the business portion of the restaurant, but he also cooks all day and now needs to manage, too. He’s not doing a very good job, and is always stressed and yelling at us. He hasn’t fazed me yet, but he’s sent his daughter out crying three times, and Sarah once, and we’ve only been working a week. He says that he likes the fact that I can take a punch.

SO. I NEED HELP.

I make between 20-50 dollars a night (lol, he keeps having to double check because he’s never had a waitress that gets tipped that well ^_^. I’ve only waited on around five-ten tables a night so far, and Shauna keeps swiping my tips, plus I have to pay for a lot of her and my own screwups. I actually make around eighty a night.) and I have some things that I need to save up for.

A new computer for as cheap as I can get a good working one.

A booth and weekend pass at Anime Crossroads in September for around $90.

$100 worth of library fines from fourth grade that are due in august.

Wicked in December for $90, plus food and possibly a hotel.

Oh, yeah. And I have to fully pay for my own college. Plus my mom’s in this “Oh, you have a job so we don’t need to pay for you” faze which means I have to buy my own clothes, food, and bathroom products. -_-

Uaaaaaaaah! How do adults do this stuff? I get $2 an hour plus tips, btw.

So what should I prioritize first? AND DON’T TELL ME COLLEGE. I’LL BE RESPONSIBLE LATER. TT_TT

Also: Did I tell you that they found out what’s wrong with me?
