Yesterday at the Biology practical it was my turn to be the lab rat again. I had to get a cell from my cheek and put it inside a glass tube. Then we poured ethanol on it until the double helix of my DNA structure floated up, and we tried to replicate it by adding plasmids which copied and mutated my DNA to a clone. It was interesting. Today at work, my entire bilingual group discovered that our new manager, Michael, does not really speak in Spanish but rather pretends to understand the language. He will nod his head whenever we happen to say something to him in our mother tongue, but his eyes remain blank and he never answers back.
