local: items free to good home

Jan 17, 2011 19:16

I have some things that I'd like to get rid of. Speak up if you know someone who wants them.

They're free for anyone who can put them to use. Just come by to pick them up sometime.  All items are in fair-to-good condition.

  1. black plastic cd storage tower (x 2)
  2. guitar, 6-string acoustic
  3. Sign Language tutorial books (x 6) and videos (vhs x 3)
  4. c++ ( Read more... )

When I get home today, I'll pull them from the garage and email him to see if he wants them.

I'm very interested in the sign language materials! :) Could we arrange a day I can grab them from you at GV? And are you sure you don't want money for them??

No, no money for any of the items, and these material happened to be free to me anyway. My ex (13 years ago) was training to be a translator, but he seemed to give up on that and pushed these materials over to me when I moved out. I was the one who kept enough books to stock a small library, so it seemed a reasonable place to put them at the time.

I'll take them to GV today and keep them until your next trip there. If you'd like to see the Remedios Varo plates, I could bring that book along too, but that one's just a loan. :)

(replies frozen? did i click on something by accident?)

Terry, that would be wonderful! I'd love the opportunity to look at the Varo plates, too! Thank you! :)

I haven't used the Freecycle site before, although I've known about it for quite a while. I'm looking forward to posting on it, actually. It turns out that quite a number of people look at items in the systemic way rather than just the personal "what does it get me" property way.

I may also have use for one of the C++ books. I'll check around on some of the other stuff.
