threshing wild oats

What an unusual dream this morning.  Time was wonky and fast-forwarded through several pieces that would be important to a consistent story.  There's no helping that flaw to this recollection.

I was attracted to this man.  His car was having problems with overheating.  We were traveling back to our home cities in some sort of caravan.  During some ( Read more... )

so do your remember what your were feeling emotionally during the dream?

eating wild oats & red hot pipes you were desperate to cool down, Herr Doktor Freud would be so proud.

here, check out some farmporn (no, not that kind) from a friend of mine schnookiemuffin, she and her hubs are friends of mine who bought a couple acres out in smithville and are doing the small "hobby" farm thing.

you also might dig reading e_moon60 now that it is spring and her book is out maybe she'll start writing about her land again, she's converting a moderate sized chunk of hill country back into a native wildlife refuge

"Herr Doktor Freud would be so proud"

Yes, the obvious interpretation amused me greatly as I typed up the incident this morning. The lack of actual sexual content in the dream, however, seemed to demand a different explanation. Sometimes a train is just a train, ya know? *laugh*

"Then, because you can never be too sure with a snake, I shot him again in the head. Then I got a shovel and lopped his head off to be sure. And buried it." - http://schnookiemuffin.livejournal.com/1389520.html

Now there's someone who knows how to handle a rattlesnake. I tell people that you have to bury the head, but I'm never quite convinced that they believe it's really necessary.

When I start interpreting metaphors within my dream, then I'll know we've reached the Inception moment of complexity. *laugh*

I love that your dreams are so detailed and memorable. Good luck with the home farm!

They're rare, but when they happen they're usually significant in some way. It's an mini-adventure sometimes, trying to decipher their importance.
