You peed in my [beeping] bed!
So, when we were looking at an apartment to live in, we wanted a pretty close place that was relatively cheap. So we decided to move to Elm St. because its super close to campus and cheap for how close and all utilities are included. Well, we’re in a house that is separated into 4 apartments. Our downstairs neighbor is fairly nice and really talkative. He’s an engineer so we want to use his CAEN account to get unlimited printing. He’s not the problem. We just have to seem busy so we don’t get sucked into talking too much. It’s the neighbors that are next/above us that are the problem. First of all, one is a computer science major and could hardly figure out how to get the internet set up. Granted, Comcast is a freaking monopoly that rarely does their job in a timely manner, but we decided to share internet with them because its cheaper and Comcast came to their apartment first. Well, it seems that they are quite fond of college life and enjoy coming home at 3:30 and scream. When, they’re drunk they don’t know too many words that aren’t expletives, and they have no control over volume. So last night, they came home around 3-3:30 and were clunking around. I didn’t really know what the deal was, but it seemed like they were really making a lot of noise. The back stairs that go directly to their 3rd floor bedroom run right by our bedrooms and they were screaming and yelling for awhile. Then apparently when they are drunk, they lose control of their senses as well as their bladders. One of them peed in the other’s bed and this was quite a loud and unpleasant conversation for a long time. “Why did you pee in my bed?” “You peed in my [beep] bed! What were you thinking?” and so it went for at least 15 minutes. Well, this morning, I investigated and the source of all the noise was a detour sign from Ann St. Ann St. is quite far from Elm St. How did no DPS people see them carrying this huge construction sign across the entire campus at 3 am? Sometimes I wonder what the Ann Arbor police really do. Anyway, we really don’t like our neighbors because they get drunk all the time and come back at 3am and yell right outside our door. It’s pretty annoying. I wish that they would just crash at the party they were at and sober up and then come home. I hope it gets cold soon and the party opportunities cease. Well, it’s college and party yes, but don’t pee in your friends bed and wake up your neighbors about it ok!
