Forgiveness as a sin?

Hi! You don't know me, but we have canology and iamtim as friends in common (although I ahven't really been in touch with them for a while - oopsie), but I just wanted to say that forgiving someone is never wrong. Just because they're Christians doesn't mean they're perfect, far from it. We Christians aren't immune to hypocrisy, alas. They've just given you something else they need to be forgiven for.

Hope you don't mind me sticking my Christian nose in!

You've pointed out to me that I have used a generalization about ALL Christians, not making it more clear that I'm actually upset with just my family. I deeply apologize, for it was not my intention to bring OTHER Christians into it.

My ex-step-mom has always been a self-proclaimed "devout Catholic". She and my two sisters have never understood me because I chose not to follow that path for myself (more of a Buddist...). I guess I was just upset and ranting that I should be judged so horribly by doing something that, according to their personal values, should be rewarded.

I am much more calm today, and I sincerely hope I didn't offend. If I did...well - how the heck can you be canology's friend!?!?! (just kidding).

I'm hardly offended - I was just trying to point out that Christian or no, we're all just human beings trying to make it through, but we're also all just as flawed as everyone else. 8)
