Beauty does the exact same thing to me. I love how you said that...

Also, I'm always happy when I get quoted in your blog. :)

Mourning Pages... anonymous June 29 2008, 15:08:00 UTC
How's the Mourning Pages going now? You make it sound like Morning Sickness!!! I can totally relate, however, and commend your honesty in these matters...

I have been getting in the artist's way for years, heh heh... I guess I have never actually read the book, though all my distant functional friends have... So I just watch them and take the good and leave the hood...

You are being watched, you artist!!!

Peace-ish,

I missed you anonymous June 29 2008, 18:23:51 UTC
I'm so glad you're blogging here again ... I missed you. Loved your thoughts on beauty. And what you and Jen have been sharing about home. We just sold my grandmother's house, since she's in an assisted living place now, and I have her china cabinet in my kitchen. It's beautiful and a treasure, and even thought it fits in the space nicely, it doesn't quite belong yet. Not sure how that fits with anything you said, maybe just the idea of home and belonging.
