Nothing like a child's smile
Ya know...I was having a bad day...I mean everything was just going wrong, but a simple gesture tonight totally changed my whole mood.
My friend in florida, a girl I've known for years, who is more like a sister to me than a friend, has 2 kids, and I've always agreed to be their godmother. Actually, what they did is they split the godmothering duties between my sister and I since they couldn't decide which one, since we both cared about the kids. So we share them as godkids...Anyways, I've never seen the kids, cause I've never been able to visit her in Florida, and tonight on the phone she tells me a web address...and I see this...
My Godkids!!! This is the first time I've ever seen their little faces! I'm in love with them already and I honestly can't wait to get the money to go to Florida to spoil them rotten! Then she tells me she's sending me a hard copy of the photo to keep! I'm so excited!
Little Denise (her new nickname is diva, cause she's totally doing the diva pose in this picture) is only 2 mos old! She's so tiny! And that cutie little boy is Hunter, He's only 23 months, but he's gonna be a big ol boy like his daddy...his daddy is 6'5....but he'll be a heartbreaker! He's so cute!
I'm sorry but I had to share this, I can't stop smiling after seeing this picture! Totally changed my mood and outlook...
But look at these two? How can I be in a bad mood after actually laying on eyes on my two godkids! Aww...
