The best advice I ever got for what to say when somebody asks about your height is to look a little surprised and say, "that's a very personal question." Because it is. I had an arguement about this with an old guy in a bar once, because I said that and he immediately said "No it's not!" And I told him it was the same as asking someone you don't know how much they weigh. He was kind of a douche so he didn't get the point that I really didn't want to talk about it, but it still kind of worked. That or if they just say "You're tall," I'll look at the person and say, with a completely straight face, "Your hair is blond," or something like that. And no, they don't usually get it, lol.

Ooooh, Buffy and Angel. I've only seen through S3 of Buffy, but I've seen all of Angel. Gotta love David Boreanaz, right?

I'm gonna have to try that when someone asks me how tall I am...You're right, it is a very personal question. You don't see us walking up to people asking 'What size pants do you wear?' or 'How wide are you?' yet people think it's perfectly fine to ask about our height? My favorites are the ones that ask how tall I am, then go 'Oh you're so lucky!' or 'I'm jealous!' I flat out tell them, 'No' cause let's be honest, true they might want to be taller, but they don't want to be as tall as me! They think being tall is just a walk in the park, they are so wrong! Although I will admit, I don't take offense when it's someone around the same height or taller asking me how tall I am. It's like that's ok with me, almost like we're part of this club together, so it's ok...Like the one PA on the set, she's 5'11 like me, so I didn't mind her asking me, or Joel, or you...people around my height it's fine...it's the people who are like 5'4 who I have never met before and they just approach me out of nowhere, for no reason but to ask me how tall I am
