Cause that's what it's about.

BFA or BA doesn't mean anything. It all depends on your attitude and your portfolio. If you feel like you NEED a BFA to do well, then you're just trying to cover for the fact that you can't impress people with your work rather than with your degree. Lighten up... again, it's not the end of the world.

I'm not an idiot. The BFA just meant far more to me than three extra classes and a stupid label.
I came to Kent from out of state specifically for the sole reason of getting that BFA. I've been unhappy in Ohio since freshman year but stuck it out for the program. I worked AS HARD as I possibly could have and sacrificed A LOT of a typical "college experience" to reach that intended goal. So with that... along with a pretty damn decent GPA... I don't think it's that unacceptable for my ego to be totally shot to shit when my work and effort has been deemed unworthy of what I have literally devoted my past 3 years of life to.

I agree, I thought you would get BFA, too, but... well... crap. Life doesn't always go the way you want it, you just kinda have to roll with the punches and do your best. If you let this make you a worse designer it'll only be due to the fact that you let it get to you. You're an awesome designer, just keep positive so you continue to be one. Try to make future employers think, "This is work from a BA student?"
