Death doesn't wait for vacations

I was planned to leave for New Mexico to visit a family member who has been like a grandmother to me in mid August. But my phone rang early yesterday morning with the news that deaths crafty hand had taken her that morning. The pain I feel is immense and the regret that I didn't go sooner has insued. I am glad that she is free from the terrible
