Sucks that you have to deal with insects and to possibly loose trees. Although I suppose taking care of the problem now, will mean that you won't have the trees falling on your house later on.
For the dishwasher, try different brands of detergent, I found some are much better than others.
Other than I need a steady paycheck, I'm not tied to my job. Since J's parents are financing, we don't have the same restrictions as with a normal mortgage company. We just need to make sure we can make the payment every month, so I need to keep making at least what I'm making now.
The tree problems are sort of ok. I mean, they're all mostly dead trees that we were planning on cutting anyway, but we weren't planning on chipping, which is what I'm told I need to do with the wood to keep the bugs away. It'll just add another step.
Excellent advice with the detergent, I hadn't even thought of that. At the moment we're using up what the previous folks left behind (they left 2 big things of it, so I assumed it worked :P), maybe I'll venture out and buy a better one!
