I've been steadily trying to get rid of all the random junk I don't need and organize the things that are left, and every time I throw a pile of junk out or fix things so they're pretty it's so satisfying. Eventually, I'm going to live in one of those houses that looks like it's from a magazine!

I feel like every time I get rid of junk, I get more junk! We thought when we lived in a house and had more room, there would magically be a place for everything! This is somewhat untrue :) It feels sooo good to have less stuff though!

Yeah, I've pretty much gotten over the need to buy junk unless it's necessary junk. So now when I get rid of stuff I end up with more space, and it is awesome. Most of the stuff I've been getting rid of is baby/childhood junk that I've gotten over the need to be sentimental about. My goal is to go through all of it by the time I move out because my mom has stated that she's tired of storing all of our crap. Plus, I don't want to have to move a bunch of extra stuff. I don't know what it is about throwing stuff out, but it is really cathartic!
