...eheheh. That's funny in that weird way when you know that maybe you shouldn't be laughing but it just goes ahead and happens anyway.

Mel, I was dying laughing when I saw that. I am McDonald's Burger gray. Anyway, I just stumbled onto your livejournal. It is good to see you are doing well.

hi!

I saw your post in the med schoolers community. I am thinking about applying to UMKC's medical program of 6 years. Just wondering, what was your GPA and SAT scores? My 10th and 11th grade performance was not so good :-/

I get a lot of emails like this, and I decided a long time ago that I would stop giving out my GPA and scores simply because they (surprisingly) are rarely the deciding factor in admissions. Average scores for the program are about top 10% of your class (UNWEIGHTED GPA of about 3.8-4.0) and ACT scores over 30. Competitive stats: top 5% (unweighted GPA 3.9-4.0) and ACT 32+. They would really prefer ACT scores over SAT scores and will not consider SAT IIs ( ... )
