Well this has been interesting.

I FOUND A WAY TO REVERSE MY MATHIMATICAL PROBLEM FROM SO LONG AGO!

If you cannot divide by zero without destroying the universe then there is only one expliantation.

Multiply it by zero. Then it is no longer a destructive force.

Then it now equal's zero, which would balance it!

:D IT MAKES SENSE!

I never thought about that before...but it does make sense.

It does! I think it makes perfect sense!

So 1:0*0 = BALANCE!

If this solution saves the universe from destruction, then the person who discovered it should be celebrated, don't you think?

Well I'm not really something to celebrate. But I'd rather the universe be fine then anything you know?

*racks brain*

I guess I wasn't born to deal with this kind of stuff D:

....

You've put a lot of thought into this.

You would too if you had been up studying for as long as I have.

Just...mostly studying for the end of the year.

*stares*

*deadpan* A balanced equation does indeed obviate change on either side... well done.

*wondering if this kid's going to be in his class*

It was quite simple once I sat down and thought about it. I tend to focus my studies more on balances and imbalances in the mind. Correcting an imbalance in a mental state is more difficult then figuring out the basic qualities of a math problem - which is mainly contradictions.

*tilts head -- is there something to the boy's lateral thinking after all?* That is a good place to start, though disasters can happen if errors creep into Transfiguration equations or Potions formulae. The point of math -- or any equation -- is to get the positive, negative, or null result that you want, though I suppose if you don't accidentally destroy the universe, you've come out ahead.

Disasters always happen - it's invevitable. We can't avoid it as you can't stop time (though we can go back in it to change events). Math is an equation I suppose in anything we say or do. It's a constant need.

Positive, negative, and/or null. It's an interesting concept I suppose...
