actually my roommate started singing the banana song too in response to taliban, so you're not alone.

We watched the debate in a big group, and at least two of the boys started singing that song, every time. In fact, you've identified it for me, thank you! I didn't really know what they were doing.

Yeah, I feel like it's really hard to pay attention the whole time. They both have their points that they really, really want to make (over and over again). I couldn't imagine watching a debate alone in a closed room or anything...I'd probably fall asleep.
