sorry...i don't check my lj very often. i couldn't access it while i was overseas, so i just got out of the habit of checking it. i'm totally feelin ya on the people being real thing, though. all these people who are such pros at playing the christian game make my life so frustrating. but i guess that's the way it's always been and the way it's probably meant to be. i mean, Jesus was born in a stable, lived in nazareth ("can anything good come from nazareth?"), and rode into jerusalem on a donkey, among other things. he wasn't quite the king that people expected. and i guess the kingdom of God (as mentioned in the Lord's prayer) is probably the same way...underground, subversive, and counter-cultural. not taking over the world by storm and becoming the popular thing to do...and definitely not the sort of christianity that is practised these days by the majority of professing christians. anyway...i'm on a rant, so i should probably stop now before i go too far. lol.
