Well, Peter/Jeremy's birth family will feel better and he's got a sibling.

3 years old. He must have been terribly traumatized at the time. He would have been able to say at least his first name.

Yep, want something bad to happen to the Carson Family, especially Michael.

If there is one thing I can safely promise it's that something bad will happen to all of them. I can't promise on screen, but it will happen.

I also can't promise that Peter/Jeremy will feel as pragmatically happy about it as you suggest. There may yet still be... an adjustment period.
