Hoooooooo, a LOT of stuff. Mainly the part about the KKK incident that happened somewhat close to where I live. It made me more paranoid than usual, and really hit close to home (literally, it's not THAT close to where I live EXACTLY, but it's like around where one of my friends lives and my grandma, and I'm going to both of those places soon
( ... )
That is a lot to have weighing on you. I think what you said about having no control over it is the scariest part-- there are all these big things happening in the world, and all these big things that could happen, and it's scary that in some respects all we can really do is sit back and see what happens.
I guess we just have to take a stance on the things we can control. It's 70 degrees where I am, and it's making me really worried about global warming, and I decided that this is a good push to change my lifestyle and do something about it.
And... I'd totally terrorize the KKK. If there wasn't such a huge danger of getting killed. There is that problem of stooping to their level, but they're the KKK. Okay, maybe I wouldn't terrorize them, but I'd send them angry letters. It'd be good community service.
