First day of school - an update

It is scarily easy to fall out of the habit of blogging once I'm home ... I would try another SED for September, except that the month is chopped up by the High Holydays, and I will be away from my laptop quite often. I'll try for twice a week posting and see how that goes

It seems that life has go to a regular rutine now, and I can "read you" fine. I love traveling but I also love beeing at home, boring as it must sound to some people.

(That encylopedia sounds fun, by the way)

Absolutely. Routine isn't here yet - now the High Holydays are upon us - but from October there are no breaks at school or elsewhere for a good few months. I am very happy to be (almost) back in a routine. I will be even happier when there is enough of a routine to be able to force myself to exercise regularly.

The Encyclopaedia of Islam is fantastic, it tries to cover everything to do with the Islamic world from the mid-seventh century CE to the present day. I still can't get over the fact that I'm a contributor to the first place you would go to look up a topic you were unfamiliar with - imposter syndrome hits with full force here!
