Yup, this past Sunday, November 4, I ran the first annual Manchester City Half-Marathon! The results are online here. Mary and Louisa are on there, too! We all crossed the start line about 15 seconds after the gun went off, so my actual time was under 2:17 (way better than I was ( Read more... )

Congrats!! my friend ran the new york city marathon on sunday as well. he finished in 4:17, so your half marathon in <2:17 is awesome!!!

hope your semester has been going well (though, it's getting close to the end!) any ideas what you're doing after graduation?

My semester has been ok - I'm ready for it to be over, though, and I'm sure you can relate. How are you? What are YOUR post-grad plans, if any?

I want to go to grad school but am def. taking a year or two off first for work/travel/fun. Nothing more concrete than that at this point, though.

hahaha i can DEFINITELY relate. i've been working my ass off this semester- 18 credits, plus working 25 hours a week, and running a fraternity. it's ridiculous.

with any luck, and if i get my act together and give my resume to my boss will be sending my resume to OppenheimerFunds to get me a job over there. it's a great company and really in line with everything i've done so far so it would be awesome.

but nothing set in stone yet, unfortunately.

I'm sure it will be frigging freezing at Skunk Cabbage. I just realized, I printed off an entry form and could NOT figure out how the race could be on April 1, since that's a Tuesday or something. Turns out the 2008 one isn't up yet. Yep, I'm smart.
