“No way, are you serious?” Nino asks, so startled he literally drops a few feet in the air before he kicks his shoes back into working gear.
“What do you think being a virgin goddess means exactly?” Maki replies wryly, elbows lingering on the banister of her balcony.
“Yeah, but that’s not because of any particular reason, right?” He flips onto his back and hovers with his arms crossed under his head, careful not to look at her too closely. “Just because you didn’t find anyone to-yanno.”
“Love?”
“In so many words.”
“You know I think love is an unnecessary weakness, an-”
“Achilles’ heel, right. But still, to never have had a kiss? I mean,” he drops his voice a bit and hovers closer, his face just above hers. “You would still be a virgin with just one kiss.”

crying. crying in my laughter. i cannot even with this. I LOVE THAT NINO ACTUALLY CONVINCES HER. I LOVE THAT MAKI SAYS YES. I LOVE THAT MEISA SHOOTS NINO BEFORE HE GETS A CHANCE. obvs this has to mean that nino will try again later. ::EYES GLINT::
