i know! it sort of just happened! but i'm wicked excited about it right now. have you read Blankets? its going to be Blankets-esque, maybe? similar tone, but slightly older feel. and a chick perspective, obvs.
I was thinking...maybe...we could both do like a one act version of our own interpretations of the same book. or a section of the same book and present them together? yes? totes experimental. who knows. i thought that might be kind of cool though? because i know you were talking a lot about audience perspective and i'm talking imagery...sort of siti style compilation perhaps?
maybe we could even do something with the same actors in each piece? i donno, i donno.
i need to re-read but i'm deep into east of eden right now (holyfuckingshitilovethisbook) and a bunch of comics.
ummm...if you did blindness as a play...let's just say I'd jump up and down crazily. And, there is this great book called 'The Arrival' By Shaun Tan. It's a graphic chapter book? It's not quite category of picture book either...it's unique and it tells a story in frames, but there isn't any dialogue. I was inspired to begin my own in the dull Cape Cod this Sunday. Graphic novella sounds awesome!
